      We Don’t Even Own a Cookie Cutter

      In the Mad Men days, the advertising arena was dominated – and great advertising was defined – by giant agencies like Leo Burnett, BBDO, Y&R, Ogilvy-Mather, Doyle-Dane-Bernbach, Sterling Cooper…

      Wait. What? You mean Dan Draper isn’t a real guy?

      Well, anyway, today the arena is literally littered with part-timers, amateurs and wannabes armed with smartphone cams, drawing apps and one-page websites, making ads pretty much the same way fast-food places make burgers and fries.
